PhD title: Pro-Poor urban adaptation to climate change in Bangladesh: A study of urban extreme poverty, vulnerability, and asset adaptation

[The study used development theories to analyse and explain extreme poverty, vulnerability, and asset adaptation in urban context. The methods utilised in this research are fundamentally qualitative methods such as content analysis, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, key-informant interviews, and participants’ observations that aid analysis at micro scales. Most importantly, this research explored adaptation strategies and their impacts on poverty and vulnerability in the urban slums of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. (The study was fully funded by Heriot-Watt University.)] [Link: https://www.ros.hw.ac.uk/handle/10399/2779]
