This research focuses on the development of a methodology of climate change resilience index for evaluating coastal cities' extent of resilience and factors influencing cities' resilience. Two coastal cities of Bangladesh-Khulna City Corporation and Mongla Port Municipality have been selected as the study area.For the resilience index, four dimensions have been considered including social, economic, environmental, infrastructural, and ecological/environmental. 21 indicators have been selected under these four dimensions from literature review. TOPSIS model have been used to determine the resilience score of 31 wards of Khulna City Corporation and 9 wards of Mongla Port Municipality.
