Associate Professor



Mamunor Rashid is currently doing higher studies at the University of Southern Mississippi, in the United States. He is a founding member and senior faculty of the Journalism and Mass Communication discipline. He started his carrier with Radio Today, then join Impact PR, later worked Online news portal, other news houses. Mr. Mamun began his teaching profession as a Lecturer MCJ discipline, KU in January 2016, was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2018 and later joined as an Associate Professor in 2023. He served as Head In-Charge from October 2020 to June 2021, and again from May 2023 to July 2023 positioned full Headship. He also served as the Assistant Provost at Khan Jahan Ali Residential Hall.  He received many Education Scholarships, Merit Grants, and other awards from the University of Dhaka and other organizations. Mr. Mamun also belongs to many professional organizations. He has published 25 publications in prestigious peer-reviewed national and international journals and has attended numerous international conferences. His academic interests include Media Studies, Digital Journalism, New Media Technology and Communication, Social Media Communication, and other related topics.
