2020 and 2021, over 90 lakh people in Bangladesh joined social media. In
Bangladesh, there are 45 million users of social media. Online bullying is also
on the rise. Only if something deviates somewhat from the norm or does not
adhere to societal norms is it considered trolling. This study aims to
investigate the prevalence and varieties of body shaming practiced via memes in
Bangladesh
