Benojir AHAMMED
Associate Professor



Benojir Ahammed was born in the Jashore District of Bangladesh. Mr. Ahammed completed secondary and higher secondary education in his home district. Later, he completed the B.Sc (Hon’s) and M.Sc in Statistics degrees from Rajshahi University, one of Bangladesh's oldest higher educational institutions, with outstanding academic records. A recipient of two of the most prestigious awards of Rajshashi University, the “Khandakar Monowar Memorial Award” and “Merit Award,”. Mr. Ahammed attended various national/international seminars, workshops, training, and conferences to explore new knowledge from the experts and to hone his skills. Since September 2013, Mr. Ahammed has been serving as a faculty of the Statistics Discipline at the Science, Engineering, and Technology School of Khulna University. He was appointed Lecturer and later promoted to Assistant Professor in November 2015. He has published several articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. His research interest covers public health, health economics, biostatistics, and Machine Learning.
