Early marriage is a social burden. This cross-sectional study aims to investigate the key elements connected to the occurrence of early marriage among women in Bangladesh. The "Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey' (BDHS) provided the data (2004, 2007, 2011, 2014, 2017-18) for this cross-section study. All married women of reproductive age (ages 15 to 49) in a sub-sample of one-third of the households were selected for the biomarker section of the survey. Log rank test, binary logistic regression and Cox proportional hazard model were performed to estimate the impact of factors on early marriage through univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The outcome illustrates that early marriage prevalence is significantly influenced by the factor such as types of residence, mother and partner education, religiosity, wealth index, habit of reading newspapers and watching television. Besides Social revolution must needed to create awareness among people about the real purpose of Islamic beliefs and poverty-removing policy should be strengthen to gear up for the reduction of the number of occurrence of early marriage from the society.
