Mohammad Ali has been serving as an Associate Professor in Statistics Discipline under Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) School in Khulna University, Khulna-9208, Bangladesh since April 2022. He joined the same discipline as a Lecturer in April 2015 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2017.

Dr. Ali obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Chemical Science and Engineering, Hokkaido University, Japan. He earned his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Statistics and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Statistics from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh.

His research interests include Ising computing, public health, time series data analysis, and bioinformatics. He has published several research articles in reputed international journals and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences and symposiums.
