Factor influencing breast cancer risk among well developed and least developed countries: A meta analytical review.

Cancer is a deathful disease caused by uncontrolled cell growth. The initially affected cell types and their positions mainly have classified the cancer types. Breast cancer is the second most common neoplasm and is increasing at an alarming rate among females. Lack of awareness and illiteracy are contributory factors for late presentation and therefore mortality. The incidence of breast cancer is persistently on the rise due to urbanization and lifestyle changes. Although various risk factors have been suggested for estimating the risk of developing breast cancer, most of these have been studied in the Western population. A better understanding of local characteristics of risk factors may help in devising locally effective prevention strategies for breast cancer. Among all the factors induced by abortion, smoking and alcohol intake are quite common. In this study, the published literature would be independently searched in three English databases from approximately the year 2008 up to December 2018, complemented by manual searches. Authors of potential literature will be contacted when more information or clarification should be needed. The methodological quality of included studies will be independently assessed according to Newcastle– Ottawa Scale (NOS) based on three broad perspectives. Information on the baseline characteristics, the methodological quality of included studies, and the risk estimates and their 95% CIs or cross-table data should be collected. I2 statistics will be used in terms of heterogeneity. Subgroup analyses and sensitivity analysis should be conducted along with meta-regression which is a tool used in meta-analysis to examine the impact of moderator variables on study effect size using regression-based techniques. Induced abortion, smoking, and alcohol consumption are associated with breast cancer risk is the major expected outcome of this study. The overall summary of breast cancer risk between developed and least developed countries will be distinguishable.
