Trained in the field of Sociology, I work mainly on education, environment, and public health and try to explain different social phenomena from sociological standpoints.
I'm working as an Associate Professor in the Sociology Discipline at the Social Science School of Khulna University. I recently enrolled in the PhD program in the said Discipline as a student.

My research mainly focused on education and how social, financial, and cultural capital influence academic attainment. However, I am doing my PhD research on the life and livelihood of forest resource-dependent communities in the Sundarbans. My field of interest revolves around education, environment, and health from a sociological standpoint.
