Forest & Climate Policy and Governance Research Group

Forest & Climate Policy and Governance is an important issue worldwide as well as in Bangladesh, hence research and outreach program in this field is in the mission of Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline, Khulna University. Forest & Climate Policy and Governance research group aims to build institutional capacity and rigorous research output to facilitate the evidence-based decision and policymaking in the forest and environment sector in Bangladesh.

Objectives

The Research Group aims to:

·       Conduct research in the field of forest & climate policy and governance.

·       Actively participating in the relevant research networks (nationally and globally)

·       Research collaboration with other universities, research institutes and consultancy agencies. 

·       Discrimination of science-based information to policy makers and knowledge transfer.

·       Evidence based institutional capacity building.
