Nourin Ahosan Habib is a Lecturer in the Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh. His research and professional work focus on landscape ecology, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, and environmental and social impact assessment. He has approximately 10 years of experience working on environmental assessments and biodiversity management for infrastructure and development projects, including power plants, renewable energy, transportation infrastructure, economic zones, and conservation areas across Bangladesh and several African countries.

Mr. Habib holds an MSc in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management (SUFONAMA) from Bangor University (UK) and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany) under the Erasmus Mundus Programme Joint Master’s Scholarship, and a BSc (Hons.) in Forestry from Khulna University. His work involves ecological assessments, biodiversity data analysis, and the development of Biodiversity Management Plans for development projects in accordance with international environmental standards.
