Dr. Mahmood Hossain
Professor



Mahmood Hossain is working on the mangrove ecosystem, forest productivity, and nutrient cycling. Some of the applied perspectives have focused on the stress ecology of mangroves, biomass estimation, and carbon sequestration by the forests. Mahmood has degrees from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh (BSc. Hons. in Forestry), University Putra Malaysia (MS Mangrove Ecology), and University Putra Malaysia (PhD Mangrove Ecology).
