Vision:

Our vision is to establish a strong, helpful and sustainable current Fine Arts, working together to produce the future artists and art educators of our country. The Bachelor of the Drawing and Painting program at the University of Khulna aspires to prepare students for the professional creation, practice, study. In this Discipline criticism and teaching of visual arts in a context that emphasizes cultural diversity, creative activity, research, liberal education, public engagement, and technical innovation.

Mission:

We are dedicated to making advance in drawing and painting through the creative study of innovative and meaningful work. The Program aims at preserving the past as well as striving to define the future of artistic traditions. It is committed to exploring the inter-relationships between Drawing and Painting Discipline and the other disciplines as multidisciplinary activities. Our Mission is to:

• strengthen and develop the fine arts sector in our country, using the network as a platform for collegiate work locally, nationally and internationally;
• provide, within a board based curriculum, excellent professional and moderate arts degree programs which combine creative development in an artistic discipline with career preparation through individualized instruction;
• offer ethnically inspiring opportunities to all students of the sector and regional communities and
• be recognized as the major regional arts resource through creative and academic excellence in artistic performance, productions, exhibitions and technology.
