Proactively detecting bugs in code clones through analyzing clone authorship

Intuitively, if a code fragment written by one programmer is copied and pasted by another programmer, it is likely that the pasted fragment will appear to be buggy because the other programmer could not modify it properly while pasting because of not knowing the inner details of the original code fragment. On the basis of our experiment result, we will devise a mechanism for proactively detecting bugs in code clones through analyzing clone authorship.
