Implementation of Automated Class Scheduling System

Efficient timetable scheduling is essential for educational institutions, involving the allocation of courses, instructors, and classrooms while meeting various constraints. Traditional manual methods are inadequate due to their inefficiency and inability to handle the complexity of modern systems. This research introduces an automated scheduling system that employs optimization techniques to address challenges such as avoiding conflicts, ensuring instructor availability, optimizing spatial distribution, and balancing class density. The algorithm evaluates schedules iteratively, refining solutions for optimal performance while integrating hard and soft constraints. Benchmarking against real-world datasets shows significant improvements in resource utilization, conflict minimization, and scalability. This system reduces manual effort, enhances scheduling efficiency, and lays a foundation for future advancements like dynamic constraints, machine learning integration, and real-time adaptability.
