A Computer Engineer, Alamgir Hossain is the Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Discipline at Khulna University. His research spans in the fields of loT, HCI, Tangible Computing, Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing. He has authored or co-authored more than 25 Publications including refereed journals and conference papers.
He received the M.Eng.degree in Computer Science, from the School of Information Technology and Engineering, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON, Canada. He was a member of the MCR Lab and Discover Lab. Before join to Khulna University he worked a few years with JAXARA IT Ltd. as a software Engineer.
