Lumnitzera racemosa has been traditionally used in infection, hypertension, pruritus , herpes, scabies etc. In order to ascertain the therapeutic use of the plant, leaves were subjected to explore phytochemical nature and selected pharmacological activities. the present study revealed strong antioxidant as well as significant thrombolytic, antimicrobial, cytotoxic and Membrane stabilizing activities of Lumnitzera racemosa leaves which support its folkloric uses.
