Evaluation of therapeutic, Nutraceutical and Toxicological properties of Three popular medicinal Plants in Sundarbans.

Allergy and diabetes are among the most common diseases causing a tremendous strain on health resources in Bangladesh imparting an indirect impact on national economy and development. P)resent therapeutics have various limitations. On the other hand Nutraceutical is the hybrid of nutrition and pharmaceutical also help in combating some of the major health problems. Plants are the major sources of therapeutic agent. In this study we investigated the anti allergic and antidiabeic properties of  three popular plants of Sundarbans which are being used by the people surrounding sunder bans as well as their nutraceutical and toxicological properties.
