Welcome to my homepage. I'm Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, currently working as a Professor at the Mathematics Discipline at Khulna University, Khulna-9208, Bangladesh where I have been a faculty member since 1994My main responsibilities are to conduct theory and sessional classes at undergraduate and graduate levels and hence to supervise student’s thesis and research works. I've received my PhD, M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. I've also received another M.Sc degree from The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. My research interest includes wavelet analysis, approximation theory, signal and image processing, industrial mathematics.
