On November 25, 2025, during Khulna University’s 35th University Day celebration, four outstanding students from the English Discipline in various categories were honored with the ‘University Day Award-2025’. Master’s students Saifullah Siddique (Student ID: ELS 251401) and Khalid Mahmud (Student ID: ELS 251442) received awards for their research contributions. Md. Ahad Hossain (Student ID: ELS 251417) was recognized for organizing and participating in various service programs at the social and national levels. Rodela Amin (Student ID: 251419) earned the ‘Gold Award’ by participating in international competitions.

On this occasion, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim presented awards to the selected students during a ceremony held at the university’s Journalist Liaqat Ali Auditorium. The Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Harunor Rashid Khan, Honorable Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Nur Un Nabi, and Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbubur Rahman, along with the Director of Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Md. Nazmus Sadath, different Deans of Schools, Heads of Disciplines, Hall Provosts, directors, teachers, officers, staff, and students, were all present. The awarded students, proud of their Discipline, later paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Abdur Rahman Shahin, Head of the English Discipline.
