Welcome to English Discipline at Khulna University. Since we opened our doors in 1999, we have focused on making language and literature feel alive rather than just academic vistas. To us, these are the primary tools we use to understand the world and our place within it. We offer a range of programs, from our BA (Honors) to specialized MA in English Literary Studies, MA in English Language Teaching and PhD tracks, designed to help you think for yourself and grow as a global citizen. Our research community is thriving, and we are especially proud to have awarded our first PhD. in 2025. Here, you will work closely with dedicated faculty on real scholarship, present at major conferences, and even take on teaching assistantships. We would love to hear your thoughts or any ideas you might have to help us improve.
