This study analyzes how the colonizers and the colonized people are portrayed in Rudyard
Kipling's "The Man Who Would Be King." It is discovered that Kipling used a representational
framework based on a predetermined set of preconceptions to support the colonization of India. It is found that the author has used a series of preconceptions to prove the inferiority of the native
Indians.
