I am an Associate Professor and have been teaching English language and literature at private and public universities in Bangladesh since 2007. After joining Khulna University as a lecturer in 2008, I supervised more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate students who successfully completed their project/thesis. I obtained BA (Hons) in English in 2005 and MA in English from Khulna University securing 1st Class 1st Position in 2007. My research interest includes topics in Sociolinguistics, Sociophonetics, English Language Teaching, and Language through Literature. Currently, I am conducting doctoral research on Sociophonetics. I have published several research articles in peer-reviewed international journals, Studies in English Language and Education (Q1) and The IUP Journal of English Studies (Q4), which are indexed in Scopus (Elsevier). One of my co-authored research articles has been published in PLoS ONE, a Q1 Journal, which is indexed in both Scopus and Web of Science. For more details of my research:
