The Role of Suprasegmental Features in Artistic Communication: A Study at English Discipline in Khulna University

This study aims at finding out the Role of Supra segmental features in artistic communication at English Discipline in Khulna University. As theoretical framework, John Sweller's Cognitive Load Theory (1988) and Baker's Emotional Response theory (2019) have been adopted to establish the aim of this study. Mixed mode has been applied to write this dissertation. For collecting primary data, questionnaire has been provided to the respondents and they have been interviewed also. The researcher has collected data from 201 respondents from one Public University. The findings reveal that suprasegmental elements significantly in hands emotional depth, audience engagement and the overall impact of artistic communication. Respondents perceive mastery of these features as essential for effective communication and artistic success. Despite variations in individual proficiency, the study underscores the importance of Suprasegmental features in bridging linguistic content and artistic communication. Finally, the study concludes with a positive hope to foster more meaningful and effective artistic communication within academic and creative contexts.
