A.B.M. Nazmul Islam (এ.বি.এম.
নাজমুল ইসলাম),
(Nick name Bipul), completed his doctoral degree from the faculty of
Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan under the Japanese Govt. Monbukagakushu (MEXT)
scholarship. He worked with Prof. Dr. Tsuyohiko Fujigaya, to devolve mesoporous
carbon for selective small molecule adsorption to improve the treatment strategy for chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, and polymer adsorption onto nano

Earlier, Dr. Islam received his B.Sc.(Hons) and M.Sc. degree from the Department of Chemistry at University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. During his Masters research he works on coordination compounds with Prof. Dr. Tofazzal Hossain Tarafder in Organometallic research laboratory.
In particular, his research targets expand carbon composite, surface modification of nanocarbon, metal complexes, metal and metal oxide nanoparticles through the approaches are leading to novel nanomaterial fabrication including energy materials, biomaterials, and advanced functional materials. Dr. Islam born (Natore District, Bangladesh), is currently working as a faculty of Chemistry Discipline at Khulna University one of the public university of Bangladesh.
