The study was designed to explore the impact of disaster on children's health Following survey research design, the study was carried out on male and female children, below the age of 18 years, affected by different types of natural disaster and health impact during and after disaster. Administering an interview schedule in English, a total of 291 respondents were selected by using simple random sampling, from September to October 2018. Findings show that majority of the respondents (48.2%) belonged to the age group of 10-12 years and the highest portions of the respondents (56.0%) of the study area belonged to the Islam believers. Besides, majority of the respondents (65.3%) were secondary students and most of the respondents (55.0%) suffered from diarrhea. However, the study conclusively identified personal and parental attributes have effected on nature of treatment, type of sanitation facility, health related problem where sex of the respondents (P< 000), religion of the respondents (P<000), year of schooling (P<000), type of family (P< 000), household income (P<000) were found significantly associated with them Furthermore to understand the relationship with personal and parental attributes and nature of treatment in the correlation where sex of the respondents, religion of the respondents, year of schooling, type of family, household income have positive relation with nature of treatment with correlation coefficient 631, 422, 241, 631, 461 On the other hand, type of sanitation facility have positive correlation with sex of the respondents, religion of the respondents, year of schooling, type of family, household income with coefficient 515, 731, 630, 515, 588 Further, sex of the respondents, religion of the respondents, year of schooling, type of family, household income have positive outcome to health related problem with correlation coefficient 830, 849, 517, 830, 695.
