Md. Tarik Morshed is an Assistant Professor of Law at Khulna University, where he has been teaching courses on international human rights, refugee law, and constitutional law since 2018. He holds an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Dhaka. His research interest revolves around constitutional law and refugee law.

Tarik Morshed earned his Master of Science (MSc) in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford in 2023. His coursework provided a comprehensive understanding of the field, encompassing the anthropology and politics of forced migration, international human rights and refugee law, research methods, movement and morality, and the impact of postcolonial borders. He concluded his studies with a thesis titled "The Application of the Principle of Common but Differentiated Responsibilities (CBDR) in Addressing Climate Change-Induced Displacement." Notably, his academic endeavors at Oxford were supported by the prestigious Prime Minister Fellowship of Bangladesh, which he was awarded in 2023.

Prior to his time at Oxford, Tarik completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights Law at the University of Dhaka in 2016. During this program, he focused extensively on international human rights and humanitarian law; the international legal frameworks concerning refugees, migrants, and stateless persons; comparative constitutional law; and the intersection of human rights and development. His research culminated in a monograph entitled "Use of International Law in Interpreting Constitutional Rights in Bangladesh, India, and the USA: A Comparative Study of Judicial Trends." His foundational legal education was also completed at the University of Dhaka, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) between 2011 and 2015.
