Spatiotemporal Evolution and Influencing Mechanism of Ecosystem Service Value in the South-Central Coastal Region of Bangladesh

There is strong evidence that the coastal social-ecological system of Bangladesh is changing more quickly than it did in the past due to a number of interrelated factors (Akber et al.,, 2018). Patuakhali has the potential to contribute much on the national income as some of the key features such as Payra Sea Port, and Kuakata Sea Beach are there. But unplanned growth, climate change and land cover change affect the wellbeing of the ecosystem services. Previous analyses of the temporal and geographical changes in Bangladesh's coastal zone (BCZ) ecosystems have mostly concentrated on certain causal relationships or change indicators. However, the factors that influencing on the ecosystem are not studied properly.
