Appraisal of Groundwater Quality and Health Risk Assessment For Heavy Metals in Tungipara and Mollahat Upazila, Bangladesh

There were reports on the WQI in the Tungipara and Mollahat upazilas, even though human hazards were assessed from several regions of the globe, including Bangladesh. The degradation of reservoir water quality due to trace elements and heavy metals has recently emerged as a major problem. Metal pollution in aquatic ecosystems has a negative impact on human health, reaching all the way up the food chain and into our water supply(Bhuiyan et al., 2010).
