Mr. Ghosh is working as a faculty member (Associate Professor) in Environmental Science Discipline of Khulna University since 2011 and at both graduate and post graduate levels he teaches a number of diversified courses, which embrace Physical Environment, Quaternary Environment, Surficial Processes and Landforms, Soil Environment, Hydrology, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, Environmental Auditing, Global Environmental Issues and Policies, Wetland Management and Resource Evaluation, Integrated Water Resource Planning and Management. 

Generally, Mr. Ghosh's research underlines appraising the environmental quality issues that are currently undergoing by the coastal populace and also the coastal urban agglomerates located in the Lower Bengal Delta of Bangladesh in one of the largest geosynclinal basins of the world.

Also received South Asian Water (SAWA) Fellowship at the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh under the Crossing Boundaries (CB) project implemented by SaciWATERs (South Asian Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies) based in Hyderabad, India and the Irrigation and Water Engineering Group at Wageningen University, The Netherlands, and thus, participated in a field work by visiting at Mahaweli Irrigation Project (Mahaweli System H) of Paradeniya, Sri Lanka in the context of IWRM concept in water management, arranged by University of Paradeniya, Sri Lanka during 17th to 22nd May, 2010.
