Summary of Research Experience

In MS thesis, I worked on “A non-enzymatic glutamate sensor based on nickel oxide nanoparticle under the supervision of Dr. ABM Mamun Jamal at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. The key intentions were to synthesis nanoparticles of NiO in a simplest sol-gel method and then the prepared NiO nanoparticles used to fabricate glutamate sensor.

During Undergraduate program, I got an opportunity to work under a project named “Adsorption Studies on Fe (II) ion by Tea Waste” under the supervision of Nirob Kumar Saha at Khulna University, Bangladesh. In this project evacuation of iron (II) ion from aqueous solution was contemplated utilizing bounteously accessible tea leaves waste under different trial conditions.

Recently I’ve been working on a project, named “Development of a Platform for Removal of Iron (III) Ions from Aqueous Solution Using CuO Nanoparticles”. The study intended to synthesize copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles, which was further used as an adsorbent for the sequestration of Iron (Fe) (III) ion from aqueous solution.

Currently, I’m working on a project as PI which is supported by the Research Cell, Khulna University. In this project CuO-ZnO nanocomposite select as adsorbent for removal of heavy metal which was synthesized by sol-gel method.
