Improvement of postharvest quality of dragon fruits (Hylocereus polyrhizus) influenced by precooling systems

It is hypothesized that the proposed precooling approaches may be effective to extend shelf life and reduce postharvest losses by confirming affordable technology for dragon fruits collected from different locations. Therefore, the present research work was undertaken keeping in mind the following objectives:

i.                 To evaluate the physico-chemical properties of dragon fruits collected from different locations.

ii.               To assess the precooling approaches suitable for dragon fruits.
