Dr. Prosanta Kumar Dash
Associate Professor

Dr. Dash began his job career serving as a Lecturer from 2012 to 2014  and Assistant Professor from 2014 to 2019 in the Agrotechnology Discipline of Life Science School at Khulna University in Bangladesh and continued as an Associate Professor from 2019 to onward. His main responsibilities are teaching and research. Dr. Dash hopes to help build the foundation for a thriving public and private small fruits industry in Bangladesh,  both to improve the lives of farmers and to increase the total GDP and thus the stability and well-being of the entire nation of Bangladesh. His dream is to be part of that by developing himself and staying apprised of all the recent developments in agricultural technology, and by setting up local and national problem-oriented research and extension.

Well experienced in Tissue Culture, Physico- Chemical analysis, Stress management technology, Modern irrigation systems (drip, overhead sprinkler, micro-sprinkler etc.). Good skill in experimental design and data analysis with R, SAS, MSTAT- C, Statistix, Minitab, Origin, and SPSS, SigmaPlot, and SAS JMP programs.  Good expertise in LICOR photosynthesis machine LI 6400XT & LI 6800.
