There are no reports on the efficacy of
cannonball tree leaf extract and EO water in lowering tomato postharvest
losses, but a few studies have shown that field applications or postharvest
treatment of EO water decrease the onset of disease and increases the shelf
life of some harvested fresh produces. Therefore, the present study attempted to
assess the ameliorative role of C. guianensis leaf extract and EO water
on the postharvest physico-chemical attributes of tomatoes.
