Heat Stress Mitigation using Color Contrast of Container and Particle Film Technology for Capsicum Production in Rooftop as a Need for Sustainable Urban Agriculture

The objectives of the study:

1.     To introduce heat stress mitigation strategies to minimize extreme heat for capsicum production at rooftop garden among the city dwellers as an efficient alleviate heat stress approach.

2.     To evaluate the container color and particle film technology to reduce heat stress in capsicum production under rooftop conditions in urban areas of Bangladesh.

3.     To increase cropping diversity by incorporating high-value crops in the existing gardening patterns at the rooftop of urban areas of Bangladesh.

4.     To analyze the profitability of using different color containers and particle film technology to mitigate heat stress in capsicum production at rooftop garden by partial budgeting.
