Urban and Rural Planning Discipline, Khulna University
I hold both a Master's degree (2024) and a Bachelor's degree (2023) in Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University, where I graduated with distinction, securing the top position in both classes. My academic journey has been enriched by my experience as a part-time teacher in Urban and Rural Planning Discipline at Khulna University. In this role, I actively perform my responsibilities including developing and delivering undergraduate course materials, providing course lectures, mentoring students, and promoting overall students' academic progress. Additionally, I have gained extensive research experience as a Research Assistant, collaborating with qualitative and quantitative research experts on various projects commissioned by various NGOs focusing on climate change, migration, women's leadership, and poverty. Through these research projects, I have gained research experience including interview techniques, data management, and analysis, writing case studies, and project evaluation techniques through qualitative data analysis. In addition to this, many of my undergraduate-level research works have been published in indexed journals of Elsevier, MDPI, and Springer, and proceeded to International Conferences. My professional journey also started with an internship with WaterAid Bangladesh, where I assisted in developing policy guidelines aimed at improving women's safety in public spaces. Furthermore, I participated as an ICCCAD youth fellow in the ICCCAD Youth Fellowship Program 2024, which enhanced my leadership qualities as a youth activist in climate change development. I am passionate about building my career in teaching and joining Khulna University as a lecturer, where I can inspire students of URPD as future planners, share my research insights, and contribute to their overall academic progress.
