This project, which was funded by SHLC’s Capacity Development Acceleration Fund, uses GIS-based analysis of remote sensing data to understand the extent, rate and pattern of changes in agricultural land and water bodies in the process of urbanisation in Bangladesh over the last 30 years, and further inform how urbanisation is affecting food security and environmental sustainability.
