Livelihood strategy of low-skilled Bangladeshi migrants living in Oman and their appropriation of space: Case Study of Hamriya, Muscat

The research splits into three scales: macro, meso and micro each accompanied with a guiding question. Each question further incorporating the issues mentioned in the problem statements. The macro scale aims to understand the issue at hand in a regional scale. The meso aims to look at the national level where as the micro level deals with one neighbourhood and skill group.

Macro Level: What are the transforming laws, policies and processes affecting the livelihood of Bangladeshi migrants living in Oman?

Meso level: What are the livelihood strategies developed by the Bangladeshi migrants to live in Oman?

Micro level: What effect does the livelihood strategies of low-skilled Bangladeshi migrants have on the physical space?
