Purpose of the study: This study examines the factors that
influence motivation among the faculty members of public and private
universities and their effect on job engagement based on Herzberg’s Two-Factor
Theory. This study is expected to discover intrinsic and extrinsic motivational
factors and the unique contribution of each in influencing job engagement
across various academic contexts.
