Community-Based Eco-Tourism in the Sundarbans of Bangladesh: Blessing or Burden

This study examines the social, economic, and environmental impacts of community-based eco-tourism in the Sundarbans of Bangladesh. Using a qualitative research approach, it explores how local communities experience benefits such as income generation and cultural preservation, as well as challenges like environmental degradation and social disruption. The findings provide insights for policymakers, NGOs, and tourism developers to design sustainable eco-tourism initiatives that balance community welfare with environmental conservation.
