Intersectional Leadership in Resistance: Women Student Leaders in Bangladesh’s July 2024 Uprising

This study explores the experiences and leadership roles of women student activists during Bangladesh’s July 2024 uprising. Using qualitative research methods, the research examines how gender, social identity, and institutional structures shaped their participation, decision-making, and strategies of resistance. The findings highlight the intersectional challenges faced by women leaders and provide insights for scholars, policymakers, and student organizations seeking to support inclusive leadership, civic engagement, and gender equity in social movements.
