Reframing the Blue Economy in Coastal Bangladesh: Climate Vulnerability, Environmental Justice, and Postcolonial Power Relations

This study examines the blue economy in coastal Bangladesh through the lenses of climate vulnerability, environmental justice, and postcolonial power structures. Using qualitative research methods, the research explores how coastal communities navigate ecological risks, resource exploitation, and socio-political inequities while participating in marine and coastal economic activities. The findings offer insights for policymakers, development practitioners, and environmental advocates on creating inclusive, sustainable, and equitable blue economy strategies that address both environmental and social vulnerabilities.
