This master’s project explores the lived experiences of Bangladeshi women working in the shrimp industry, focusing on the physical, social, and economic challenges they face. Using a qualitative approach, the study highlights the invisible labor, health risks, and socio-economic sacrifices of women in this sector, while examining the broader implications of the global shrimp economy on gender equity and community well-being.
