Street to Shelter Homes: Child Development Scenario in Bangladesh

This work explores the developmental challenges faced by children living on the streets and those residing in shelter homes across Bangladesh. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, the study examines their educational, social, emotional, and health needs, highlighting the gaps in care and support systems. The findings provide insights for policymakers, social workers, and child development practitioners to design interventions that enhance child well-being, protect rights, and promote holistic development in vulnerable populations.
