Voices from the Tea Gardens: Exploring the Lives of Women Workers

This thesis explores the lived experiences of women working in the tea gardens of Bangladesh, focusing on their socio-economic conditions, labor challenges, and coping strategies. Using qualitative research methods, the study highlights issues such as wage disparities, workplace exploitation, and limited access to social services, while also examining the resilience and agency of these women. The findings provide insights for policymakers, labor organizations, and development practitioners aiming to improve labor rights, gender equity, and working conditions in the tea industry.
