Impact of Occupational Health and Safety Practices on Organizational Citizenship Behavior among The Fish Processing Industry Workers in Bangladesh

This thesis investigates the relationship between occupational health and safety (OHS) practices and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among workers in Bangladesh’s fish processing industry. Using quantitative research methods, the study examines how OHS measures influence employees’ willingness to go beyond formal job responsibilities, including cooperation, initiative, and commitment to organizational goals. The findings offer practical insights for managers and policymakers to improve workplace safety, enhance employee engagement, and foster positive organizational behaviors.
