Behavioral Determinants of Fish Scales, Shrimp Heads and Shrimp Shells Utilization for Circular Economy and Sustainability: A Theory of Planned Behavior Perspective

This thesis examines the behavioral factors influencing the use of fish scales, shrimp heads, and shrimp shells in Bangladesh for circular economy and sustainable practices. Guided by the Theory of Planned Behavior, the study explores how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control shape stakeholders’ decisions to adopt sustainable waste utilization practices in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. The findings provide insights for policymakers, industry practitioners, and sustainability advocates to promote circular economy initiatives and enhance resource efficiency in the seafood industry.
