This thesis investigates the Queen Bee Phenomenon (QBP) in Bangladeshi workplaces, examining how social, cultural, and organizational factors shape interactions between senior women leaders and junior women employees. Using qualitative interviews across higher education institutions, NGOs, and multinational corporations, the study explores how gendered organizational structures influence mentorship, exclusion, and intra-gender dynamics. The findings highlight that QBP is largely a structural phenomenon rather than an individual trait, offering insights for creating more inclusive and equitable organizational practices.
