Jannatul Ferdous Bristy is a PhD researcher in International Business at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Her research focuses on identity regulation in multinational enterprises (MNEs).
She completed both her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Khulna University, Bangladesh, graduating with a CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 in both degrees. Her undergraduate thesis examined Country Risk Analysis in International Business, while her MBA thesis focused on Corporate Governance.
For her academic excellence, she has received several prestigious recognitions, including the President’s Gold Medal, Prime Minister’s Gold Medal, Dean’s Award, the Business Administration Discipline Scholarship, and the Education Board Scholarship.
Bristy is currently an Associate Professor in the Human Resource Management Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh, a position she has held since December 30, 2025. She previously served in the same discipline as an Assistant Professor (2019–2025) and Lecturer (2017–2019).
She has published 18 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals. Her research interests include international business, identity regulation in multinational enterprises, entrepreneurship, human resource management practices and strategy, SME development, and economic development.
