I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology (FMRT) Discipline at Khulna University, Khulna, a position I have held since June 2017. I began my academic career in April 2015 as a Lecturer in the same discipline. Prior to entering academia, I worked as a Research and Monitoring Executive at the Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation for approximately two years, where I was involved in field-based research and sectoral development initiatives.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Fisheries (2011) and an MSc in Aquaculture (2013) from Khulna University. In 2020, I earned a second MSc degree in Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management from Wageningen University & Research (WUR), the Netherlands, under the prestigious Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) scholarship awarded by the Dutch government.

My academic and professional interests span fish and shellfish nutrition, and aquaculture production systems. I am passionate about applying interdisciplinary approaches to address challenges in aquaculture in Bangladesh and beyond.
